We are united in our love for God and in loving others in God's name. We believe that life is all about faith lived through relationships with others and with God. Here you will also find a home.
This incredible congregation reaches out into the community each year by funding and participating in ministries and services that help others. Each year in October, you will find our church transformed inside and out by pumpkins! Yes, we're the Pumpkin Church! Through the sale of pumpkins, foods and crafts, we raise funds that help support local and worldwide service ministries that make a difference in the lives of others. Worship services at St. Matthew are Biblically based with careful scholarship, humor, and life experience. The music for our worship is a mixture of traditional and contemporary music. Special music is provided by our Chancel Choir, Praise Band, Children's Choir, and adult specialty choir called the Spirit Singers. Every year in the late spring, our Family Camp provides an unforgettable experience of fun, sharing, and getting better acquainted. The St. Matthew youth group, called Alpha Omega Student Ministries, are involved in missions, too, through the well known city-wide Youth Force, an inner city work camp that involves youth from all over the area in the hands-on helping of others. There are mission trips, educational opportunities, and so much more. Thank you for visiting this web site.
